InsightGEO is a venture of Insight Media Labs — a New York advertising and technology agency founded in 2016. For nearly a decade, our team has helped brands navigate the SEO-to-social, social-to-programmatic, and programmatic-to-content transitions. We have built proprietary products (NewsDriver, Driver, SODA) and deployed them for B2B and B2C clients on six continents. The pattern recognition we earned in those transitions is exactly what the AI visibility moment requires.

Peter Brand — Founder & CEO

Peter is the founder and CEO of Insight Media Labs and the founding force behind InsightGEO. Over a 25-year career, he has built and operated technology and marketing businesses spanning ad-tech, public-sector technology, and brand strategy — including senior project leadership for the State of California prior to launching IML in 2016. Under his leadership, Insight Media Labs has become a trusted partner to enterprise brands navigating each successive platform shift in digital marketing. Peter holds a degree from Hobart College and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is based in Montclair, New Jersey.

Tom Becktold — Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer

Tom is one of the most respected B2B marketing operators of his generation. He spent more than two decades at Business Wire — a Berkshire Hathaway company — most recently as Chief Marketing Officer, where he led global brand, content, and demand strategy for the world's leading news and disclosure platform. Tom is a recognized authority on news distribution, content marketing, and the mechanics of how stories travel through the modern information stack — expertise that sits at the heart of how AI assistants source and cite the brands they recommend. He brings to InsightGEO the rare combination of enterprise marketing scale and a deep technical understanding of the citation economy AI now runs on.

Conor Brand — Account Director & Head of Client Strategy

Conor leads client strategy at Insight Media Labs and serves as the senior client lead for InsightGEO. He has spent his career in New York's brand and media ecosystem, translating first-of-its-kind marketing technology into measurable outcomes for sophisticated clients. Conor is the connective tissue between the InsightGEO platform and the strategic work that turns visibility data into market share — the day-to-day partner brands rely on to actually execute against AI-era opportunity.

Charter Smith — Data & AI Engineer

Charter is a data and AI engineer who has spent his career building the measurement infrastructure behind modern marketing platforms. He leads the technical work at InsightGEO — designing the data pipelines that capture what every major AI assistant says about a brand, the scoring layer that turns those signals into share-of-voice intelligence, and the recommendation engine that translates that intelligence into the next move.
